i-REXFO will create open-source software for the planning and the technical-economic and environmental optimisation of the food waste reduction and waste-to-energy valorisation supply chains. Based on the good practices in other European countries (Denmark), i-REXFO will activate a supply chain in Umbria, which will then be transferred to other countries (Hungary).

That’s why i-REXFO partners play a key role in the planning and implementation of these two supply chains.
